Our French curriculum aims to ensure that all Key Stage 2 pupils:

• Develop an interest in learning other languages
• Develop the essential skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing
• Speak French with increasing confidence, fluency and spontaneity
• Write in French, using the variety of grammatical structures that they have learned
• Develop an interest in French culture, identifying similarities and differences to British culture
